We invite
you to undertake an internship in the State of Hessen!
We support students of the University of Wisconsin System who
wish to work abroad, in a host organisation in the State of
Hessen in the framework of Hessen /Wisconsin Exchange Program.

Closing date for application and
application documents:
The closing date for application is 6 months before starting
the internship at the Coordination and Contact Point in Milwaukee.
The application documents should include:
- Application Form from the Coordination and Contact Point
in Milwaukee (pdf)
- Curriculum Vitae (according to European
Standard), please fill out in German and English
- Letter of Motivation: Guidelines to write this Letter
of Motivation available in German (word
or in pdf)
and in English (word
or in pdf),
please fill out in German and English
- a current Enrollment Certification
- German Language Certificate (word
or in pdf);
it has to be completed by a German language teacher of your
university.
- Financial Statement (word
or in pdf)
Once you have completed the application forms, please submit
them to your local coordinator (he will forward it to Milwaukee)
or directly to Thomas Danner at the Coordination and Contact
Point in Milwaukee.
After your application, your documents will be forwarded to
the Coordination and Contact Point in Giessen/Germany, which
will deal with the further procedure. You won't be registered
at a University in Hessen. You will get a release from the
work permit, which you need for doing an internship in Hessen.
